Through this service, you can apply for attesting an affidavit whereby the deponent declares that he provides accommodation at his home for the person to whom the affidavit is made.

Service Process

 

  • Submit the application and required documents through any available channels.
  • Pay the applicable fees once the request is approved.
  • The two parties must verify their  appearance before the attestation officer through any available means.
  • Receive the requested affidavit.

  • Official document certifying the kinship of parties.

Rules and Conditions

  •  If the certification is for a person who has completed 18 years of age, his / her guardian or curator must be present.
  •  If the document submitted is a court judgment, it must be final and unappealable.
  • Judgments issued outside the country must be certified and stamped with the execution seal of the competent court.
  • If the person concerned or one of the parties fails to attend or is incapacitated, debilitated or is a legal person, the application must be submitted by a person acting on their behalf legally or lawfully, with the proof evidencing so.
  • Any document issued outside the country must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • If the document is not in Arabic, it should be translated by a legal translation office certified by the Ministry of Justice.
  • No transaction shall be issued or attested if it is a subject of dispute between the parties at the time of attestation; or if it falls under another jurisdiction, or otherwise contravenes sharia law, legislations, public order, or regulations.
  • The judge may request any document that he considers necessary to prove the incident.
