Service Process

Service Process

  1. Register/sign in to the system using your username and password or by UAE PASS via The Link
  2. Apply for the establishment’s card issuance service.
  3. Attach the required documents.
  4. Refer the application electronically to the Department of Electronic Services to verify the transaction and ensure that the conditions and documents are met.
    1. In case of missing requirements, the establishment will be notified of the deficiencies to be completed.
    2. If the conditions and documents are met, the application will be approved.

Required Documents

  1. Copy of the ID card: A clear copy of the Emirates ID card on both sides.
  2. A copy of the valid license: indicating the activity/address/PO box /telephone/fax. If the activity is a fishing boat, the boat license issued by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment must be attached. If the activity is “Abra”, a license from TRA must be attached. If the activity is a non-profit association, a license from the Community Development Authority must be attached. An appendix with the names of the partners: issued by the Economic Department if the names of the license holders are not found in the trade license.
  3. An annex with the names of the partners: issued by the Economic Department in case the names of the license holders are not found in the trade license.
  4. A copy of the partners’ passport: a copy of the partners’ valid passport.
  5. Articles of Association: If there are partners.
  6. Copy of the establishment card of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security: A clear copy containing the data of owners and authorized signatories.

Rules and Conditions

  • The license shall be valid.
  • The owner, partners, service agent, and authorized signatories must have a personal number in the ministry.
  • All the facilities of the license holder or the service agent registered with the Ministry are unified under one personal number.
  • The license holder or service agent shall not be below the age of 21 years. In the case of minors, the parent or guardian may sign on behalf of the license holder or service agent until he/she reaches the legal age. Minors may sign by obtaining a court’s permission.
  • GCC citizens shall be treated as UAE nationals.
  • All authorized citizen license holders must sign the signature verification card.
  • The authorized signatory in the Department must be authorized by the Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs, and Ports Security.
  • The license holder or service agent shall have an establishment card registered at the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs.
  • The national license holder, service agent, or authorized signatory shall have a valid e-signature card.
